Where, you may (or may not) ask, are more articles? There is the still-in-draft-form Computer Survival Guide and an introduction to a page of links on ergonomics. There is a page called, “Resources for Blind or Low-Vision Users,” where I have more links and a few more of my own words. I must confess that all of these could use some updating.
Other than this, most of this site is about MendoClick. I’m not a journalist; I’m a computer analyst, programmer, and trainer. However, I do have fleeting inspirations to write.
It has been over two years since I wrote my last shareware review. Those reviews are now woefully out of date. Some shareware has improved dramatically, some is no longer available, and some has not changed much at all, probably because its developers moved onto other projects. So I’ve removed the navigation link to the old shareware reviews. You may still find the reviews if you wander this site awhile, but as I update other pages, the remaining links will disappear, too. (Hint: You can Google this site by including “site:www.mendoclick.com” in the Google keywords you use for search criteria.)
When I get around to it, I will write an article, or perhaps several, about the shareware I use every day – the stuff I no longer want to do without because I find it so helpful. Hopefully, it will be just what you Google for in 2006, and you’ll find yourself back here again.
Later!
Margaret Blauvelt
